4 Ex Cops Won T Be Indicted For Shooting Man Over 20 Times During A Mental Health Crisis
A grand jury chose not to indict the officers, who had been fired after the death of Nicolas Chavez, 27, last year. Chavez had told police he was a patient at a mental health clinic, and was shot more than 20 times after picking up a stun gun, authorities said.
