The heavily wooded scenery of Twin Cities can prove difficult for some players to manage. That wasn’t the case for Cameron Champ last year, though. Champ nabbed his third victory of his Tour career in last year’s iteration of the competition, carding five birdies with no bogies in the final round to secure his first Tour victory since 2019.
With heavy hitters like Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Matthew Fitzpatrick and Open Championship winner Cameron Smith among those opting out of the event, it should make for a fairly open field.
And anything can happen under the Minnesota sun. Just ask Champ.
